Alicante Plaza magazine publishes among its pages the talk in which our CEO, Jesús Ruíz, participated about innovation and digitalization in the industry.
Last week the Forum “Innovation and digital transformation” took place and was organized by Alicante Plaza and sponsored by FacePhi Biometría, Verne Technology Group and the Consellería de Innovación. MindDen had the pleasure of attending represented by our CEO, Jesús Ruíz, who participated in a pleasant talk with Carlos Cortés Albero, Marketing Director of Aire Networks, led by David Martínez.
During the debate, the need to carry out a digital transformation process in companies in order to survive was highlighted. An open mindset towards change and the ability to adapt to the digital revolution are paramount to remain in the business sector. As our CEO pointed out, “it is to be or not, in a changing market, whoever does not undertake this transformation, will not get on the train. It is complex and it is also necessary to have the economic capacity to undertake these investments, but with the pandemic we have seen that we have to digitize to continue, there is no other way. Now there is the possibility of taking advantage of government plans”.
Jesús also highlighted the importance of people as a driver of change and the need to put them at the center as a preliminary step before undertaking any transformation or innovation action. In this sense, MindDen has always been based on the “people-focused” strategy that puts people at the center, whether they are workers, customers or suppliers. “The difficult thing is to retain it, to make the company attractive, to empower that person and put them at the center of the process. Sometimes we have the idea that innovation comes from the R&D area, but it is the Human Resources department that must go hand in hand,” said our director.
Along the same lines, other competencies to be taken into account on the road to digital transformation were stood out, such as the ability to communicate and explain in earthly language to the different profiles and departments what is difficult for technicians to make understandable.
In addition to reviewing the resistance to change and the ideal skills, the benefits of the transformation for companies were highlighted, among which stands out a significant improvement in competitiveness.
